Mapa double-layer thermal insulation chemical resistant glove. Multi-purpose chemical resistance (acids, aliphatic solvents) increased by the thickness of the material. Excellent thermal insulation, due to double-knit cotton up to 480 degrees F (short contact duration). Good grip of wet or slippery objects due to embossed texture. Applications: Food industry: filleting fish; Mechanical industry: chemical treatment of metals, oil quenching of steel; Other industries: boiler room work, handling of hot piping, handling of moulds in the ceramic industry, manufacture of adhesives, manufacture of insulating electric wires, road works in cold conditions, steam cleaning; Petrochemical industry: sampling of hot petrochemical products, rubber industry, polymer extrusion. Interior finish: knitted thermal protection. Exterior finish: non-slip grip. Certificate of conformity and regular production inspections on the manufacturer's premises by the notified bodies. Mechanical Hazards EN 388 (performance levels): puncture resistance, tear resistance, blade cut resistance, abrasion resistance. Heat and Fire EN 407. Specific Chemical Protection EN 374 (Chemical product): methanol, acetonitrile, n-heptane, sodium hydroxide 40 percent, sulphuric acid 96 percent.
